Prevent furniture tip-overs
Secure furniture that requires anchoring to an appropriate wall using the instructions and fixings suitable for the wall type. If you are unsure about the wall or mounting method, ask a qualified installer.
Keep heavy items low, avoid placing tempting items where children might climb, and do not allow children to climb drawers or shelves. Check fixings after a move and periodically during use.
Beds, moving parts and electrical components
Use the specified mattress dimensions and follow any age, guard-rail and clearance instructions for a bed. Keep hands and children clear of hinges, gas-lift storage, recliner mechanisms and other moving parts.
Use electrical furniture only with its supplied or specified power equipment and in the environment stated by the manufacturer. Stop using damaged cords, overheating components or a mechanism that does not operate normally.
Outdoor furniture
Follow the product’s exposure and care guidance. Secure lightweight furniture in strong wind, use hanging furniture only with a suitable rated support, and observe the stated load limit. A weather-resistant finish is not a promise that every part can remain uncovered in every condition.
Report a safety concern
Stop using a product that appears unsafe. Keep people away from the affected area and contact us with the product name or SKU and the nature of the concern. Only take photos if it is safe to do so. For an immediate emergency, call 000.
Recalls and safety notices
If a safety action affects a product we sold, we will publish the relevant notice and contact affected customers where we can identify them. Follow the instructions in the notice, which may include stopping use, a repair or a return.
