Match the table to the stool

Use tabletop and underside heights alongside the stool’s seat and arm dimensions. The table’s label alone does not tell you which seating will be comfortable.

Check the base and intended setting

Allow room for legs, feet and movement around a pedestal or frame. Indoor and outdoor suitability must be stated on the product; do not infer it from the finish.

Compare tabletop space and leg clearance

The shape of a dining table changes how it uses the room. A round top has no corners, while a rectangular top can work well in a longer space.
